Students’ achievements celebrated in awards ceremony supported by BOV

Eight students from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Malta who have achieved excellent grades during the first two years of their B.A. or B.A. Honours studies, including at least ‘A’ grades covering 80 credits qualified for the Faculty’s Dean’s List Award, sponsored by Bank of Valletta.

Speaking during the presentation, John Paul Abela, Manager, Media and Community Relations said, “At Bank of Valletta, we recognise the value of education and the life-changing opportunity it can bring. Education is an essential building block to driving economic development  and inspire young people to achieve their potential”

The students who made it to the prestigious Dean’s List were Kylie Azzopardi, Francesca Cassar, Jake Mamo, Caroline Anne Miggiani, Sian Pledger, Sophia Snegerva, Christabel Vassallo and Kathleen Vella. These students will be graduating in November .

Thanking Bank of Valletta for its long-term and consistent support, sustained for the past years, ever since the institution of the award, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dominic Fenech, said “We give this award to celebrate some of the exceptional scholarly achievements of our students and to bring them campus-wide recognition. Membership of the Dean’s List is the highest academic achievement possible for a student and something to be truly proud of.”
