The trekkers who will be walking the 112 km Camino de Santiago in Spain to raise funds for Hospice Malta and FAA, invite the public to an event at Due Mari  Restaurant at Tigné Point where popular singers will be entertaining the public with their music.

The walk, from Sarria to Santiago, is a compelling social, spiritual and historical experience which attracts walkers from all over the world. The 28 Maltese ‘pilgrims’ who are undertaking this challenge will be raising funds for Hospice Malta’s palliative care for people suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses, as well as for FAA’s work on preventive health by providing a healthy environment.

In addition to their intensive training schedule, which includes weekly walks and gruelling weekend treks, walkers are organising various fund-raising events, and next Friday 9 May they will holding an evening of entertainment by singers Lyndsay Pace and Kiko and Simon from Skarlet, as well as lots of finger food, two glasses of wine and good company!

Tickets cost €13 and can be booked through Sandra Azzopardi on email: [email protected] , Eman Azzopardi on email: [email protected] or by calling the venue, Due Mari Restaurant, Tigné Point, Tel: 2060 4060
