May is the month of flowers and to celebrate this occasion the Malta Horticultural Society will be organising its traditional flower show and seminar on the art of Ikebana at Seashells Resort at Suncrest on Thursday, 15th May 2014. The seminar forms part of the annual flower exhibition organised by the Society at San Anton on the weekend of the 17 and 18th May

Special guest for this event is the world famous Japanese Professor and head of the School of Koryu-Toyoki’ in Japan, Riho Miyamoto. This seminar will be an opportunity for those flower arrangements enthusiasts who want to learn about the Far East technique of Ikebana. Entrance to this seminar which will be held between 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs in the Poseidon Hall.
