Mr Mark Bajada was presented with the ‘BOV Special Prize in Science’ for 2014 during an event held at the University of Malta on Friday 9th May 2014. The prize was presented by John Paul Abela, Manager Media and Community Relations at Bank of Valletta, in the presence of Prof C.V. Sammut, Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Malta.

“The BOV Special Prize for Science honours students who have put lots and lots of hours into achieving what they want to achieve. At a time when endeavors made through science positively affect more people than ever, BOV is proud to foster the efforts of our brightest young minds,” said John Paul Abela.

 “The support from Bank of Valletta is critical and deeply appreciated in recognizing the outstanding efforts and contributions of our excellent faculty,” said Prof Sammut. “This prestigious award allows us to acknowledge the tremendous talents and hard work of our students.”
