PKF Partner, Pierre Mangion has joined RA1SE in their recent expedition to Zambia where they helped lay the foundations for a school for children. The group travelled toLusaka in Southern Africa for 2 weeks over Easter to help build a school and gave support to a group of young orphans.
The newly-established Maltese NGO - RA1SE was set up to raise awareness, interest, support and engagement in social in Malta and abroad. It focuses on promoting collaboration between local and foreign non-governmental organisations to increase the positive impact these organisations have on the lives of beneficiaries.
The foundation’s motto – One for Good Causes – encapsulates its commitment to work either on its own or with other NGOs for charitable purposes. RA1SE organized its first event at Cafe del Mar, Malta on March 15, 2014. The proceeds raised during the event went towards building this orphanage in Zambia .
