The third edition of the AX Hotels football tournament has raised a total of €1,890 in aid of the charitable institution, Inspire.

The tournament, organised by management and employees of AX Hotels, was held on the 30th May at Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali. A total of seven teams from differentfirmsparticipated including The Palace, FIMBank, Besedo, Sparkasse Bank, AppleCore, Ciapella Motors and Sparks.

Playing a five a side football with thirty minutes each way, the afternoon was filled with friendly tackles and well taken goals.The Bank of Valletta team came first followed byAppleCorein second place.

The winners were given a complimentary weekend break for two at The Palace, Sliema while runners up were awarded a dinner in one of the restaurants at The Palace.However, when playing for a good cause all participating teams are winners.
