Air Malta is giving away lots of discounts and a couple of free flights through a new World Cup app on its Facebook page where anyone who participates is a winner.

“As the World Cup matches draw closer, we’ve embraced football fever and wanted to give our fans the chance to share in the fun and win a prize,” said Chief Commercial Officer, Philip Saunders.

The app on www.facebook.com/airmalta allows fans to predict the winners of the football matches of the day. If users guess correctly, participants win a 25% discount on a flight. If not, they will still be awarded a 10% discount for participating. Terms and conditions apply.

Participants will also get a one time opportunity to predict the winner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final and get in with the chance to win the grand prize of two return flights (excluding taxes and charges) for one lucky winner to an Air Malta destination of their choice. Predictions can only be made before the first round of matches is over.
