On Monday 23th June, Parliamentary Secretary Jose Herrera received the winners of two prestigious awards held at the Pavilion, Tower of London.
Parliamentary Secretary Jose Herrera said that the Maltese winners of the eGR B2B awards show that local talent can compete both locally and internationally. He said that through innovation and professionalism, Bit8 and WH partners have established themselves in their own field.
“They are both recognized not just locally but internationally. The Maltese Government is supportive towards Maltese entrepreneurs that invest through innovation. The above ties with the Government’s strategy of making Malta a leader in the gaming sector”, said Dr Herrera.
José Herrera added that these two awards show the importance of the industry in Malta.
“The results obtained in the eGR B2B Awards 2014 show the importance of the industry in the local context. As the person politically responsible from the industry, I am doing my utmost to keep it sustainable both in terms of promotion but also in terms of legislation”, said Dr Herrera.
