Being screened in over 450 cinemas in the UK and a further 1,500 worldwide, the final Monty Python show will be broadcast at the Eden Cinemas on Sunday 20th July at 8pm.

Live via Satellite from London’s O2 Arena, the show brings together the five remaining members - John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin for a final reunion which promises to be one of the biggest and funniest events of the year.

Directed by Aubrey Powell and produced by Fiz Oliver, the Monty Python live stage show will include the group’s most memorable skits, all new sketches as well as their trademark quirky humour.

Apart from gruelling rehearsals, the Monty Python crew have also been busy with a few fun projects on the side to keep fans entertained until the actual show. As the World Cup took place, Monty Python announced the re-release of their classic and much adored single ‘Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life’, with a brand new verse fitting for England’s match, should they fail to triumph.

Python fans were also given the opportunity to take part in a video competition by submitting their best interpretation of a classic Python sketch. The winner’s video is to be included in the international broadcast of Monty Python Live (Mostly) in cinemas.

Moreover, the team announced the launch of the Monty Python Spam Club - proudly touted as ‘what may be the worst run fan club in the world’. By joining the Spam Club on the website, fans are able to ask questions and share their Python-inspired silliness, up until the live broadcast on the 20th July.

Tickets for the live show are priced at €12 and can be purchased from www.edencinemas.com.mt
