U-Film Malta was busy promoting Malta as a filming location over the past few weeks. In Moscow U-Film Malta was one of the partners of the Moscow Business Square, the main business event of Moscow International Film Festival. For this edition U-Film Malta was also one of the prestigious partners (other partners included: Screen International, Moscow Film School, Producers Network, Marche du Film,Mipcom, etc.)

The Karlovy Vary Film Festival is an event that brings together people involved in film, from all over the world and introduces the latest developments in the Czech film industry. It was also an opportunity for U-Film Malta to network with different production realities. During the opening ceremony,Mel Gibson was awarded the Crystal Globe for outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema. U-Film Malta’s attendance at this festival form part of their drive to promote Malta as a filming location in central and EasternEurope. The KVIFF is considered to be one of the most important festivals for these regions.
