An online blog, is inviting anyone living or visiting Malta or Gozo to upload photos depicting daily life in our islands to the website FirstMalta.com.  The website itself is being promoted heavily on social media, mainly Facebook and the owners believe that such an idea may spread virally on the internet will help promote Malta and Gozo as a tourist destination.

People submitting photos are also being encouraged to include a short story behind the photos themselves which are intentioned to attract attention by potential tourists.  “We are inviting anyone living in Malta to send remarkable photos, taken perhaps with a smart-phone and we will upload them for all the world to see.  Today it is a known secret that anyone scouting a tourist location will most probably check the internet first before deciding his final destination.”  stated one of the co-owners of FirstMalta.com   “We have already received lots of interest  and already uploaded captivating photos depicting scenery, beaches and night life on our blog” he continued.
