Following their recent success at the Earth Garden Festival held at Ta’ Qali some weeks ago, during which just over 2,220 Euros were raised for the Malta Hospice Movement, BETA Paints has once again set up their “Love your Walls” photo stand at the Farsons Beer Festival being held till the 3rd of August. BETA Paints will be hosting Hospice Malta on their Stand, and will be covering all related expenses. Volunteers from Hospice Malta and BETA Paints staff will be manning the Stand throughout the Festival. For those who may have missed the Earth Garden Festival, the concept behind this fund-raiser is still the same. BETA Paints are donating one Euro for every photograph taken on their Stand. Donation boxes have also been set up for those wishing to make their own donation. The team is working towards reaching their target of €5,000 to be collected by the end of the campaign.  The “Love Your Walls” campaign is raising awareness about the range of Formaldehyde-free pproducts from BETA Paints. Formaldehyde is a carcinogenic compound used as a preservative in most types of paints. Working through their own R&D department, the company has managed to eliminate the use of this chemical from the vast majority of their product line. BETA Paints have promoted this campaign by directing a sizeable part of their budget to interact directly with the public whilst simultanously managing to raise money for a good cause.
