Throngs of children forming part of the BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s Choir were the protagonists of the party which BOV held in their honour as a sign of gratitude for their invaluable input and participation in the 2014 Joseph Calleja Concert.

Cheerful children were treated to a warm welcome by the Maltese tenor, Joseph Calleja who expressed his appreciation to all the participating children for their contribution in the concert which was held on Friday 18th of July.

The choir, under the direction of Gillian Zammit, has become synonymous with the annually-awaited event of the Joseph Calleja Concert and friends. As a commemoration of their participation in the concert, children were presented with a memento photo which was signed by the tenor himself.

The BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s Choir starts rehearsals in preparation of the concert early in the year, signifying a lot of hard work for the children and their parents but the result of the group’s dedication is the success achieved in the concert which captivated thousands of followers.
