Thirteen large canvasses by Malta based artist Lida Sherafatmand were recently transported to London by Express Trailers as part of the company’s support to the artist’s travelling exhibition “Internal Worlds, External Relations” hosted at the London School of Economics between the 16th June and the 11th July. In her painted work, Lida uses rythmic motion to convey different human internal life states expressed through the symbolism and movements of flowers. The exhibition sought to stimulate a journey for the viewer into the infinite aspects of the human spirit. “Conveying emotions in a tangible way is the work of the artist however, conveying 13 large canvasses for an exhibition needed the ability of a fully-equipped company like Express Trailers who are considered as ‘artists’ in the field of logistics and transportation. In fact, the company has a lot of experience with the transportation of art, valuable objects and fragile items. I am very proud to have found their seamless support for my exhibition in London,” said Lida Sherafatmand as she thanked Express Trailers for the support. Speaking about her exhibition in London, the artist reiterated that the experience was very successful and the exhibition was highly welcomes by those who attended. “We are proud to have had the opportunity to assist another artist in putting up a successful exhibition beyond our shores. Being fully-equipped meant that we could handle all the artist’s requirements, from the pick up of the paintings, their professional packing, safe and timely transportation to the exhibition venue and finally, the return of the works to Malta folliowing the exhibition,” said David Fleri Soler, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Express Trailers. A public lecture was also held on the 16th of June during which the artist spoke about her academic quality research and the link between humans’ internal worlds and the external relations between people on the international scene, by making use of cultural, peace and conflict theories in international relations.
