The Love Your Walls! campaign organised by BETA Paints to raise awareness about their Formaldehyde-Free range of paints, has drawn to an end with tangible results in aid of the Malta Hospice Movement.

The primary focus was to raise awareness about harmful substances which are very often found in household products, amongst which Formaldehyde which is commonly used as a preservative in paints. At the same time the company also wanted to give something back to the community, rather than simply spending through the regular advertising methods. BETA Paints donated €1.00 to Hospice Malta for every photo taken on their Stand at the Earth Garden and Beer Festival.

“We’ve worked really hard to raise as much as possible for this cause, but results have exceeded our expectations. This just goes to show that there is still a strong sense of community and solidarity throughout the Maltese Islands. The Maltese are always ready to help out for a good cause!” stated John Borg Barthet, Managing Director of BETA Paints. Anabel Borg from Hospice Malta also commented  that “we really put our all into what we do; all our services are free and three quarters of our funding comes through donations. We really appreciate the BETA Paints initiative. The money raised will help hundreds of families through some of the most difficult times.”
