Bank of Valletta and The Today Public Policy Institute have officially entered into a two-year collaboration agreement with the objective of working together on a number of research programmes intended to improve the design of public policies. Through this agreement, BOV is being named as an Official Partner of The Today Public Policy Institute.
The agreement was signed at Bank of Valletta’s Head Office in Santa Venera between Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations, Bank of Valletta and Martin Scicluna, Director General, The Today Public Policy Institute.
“Bank of Valletta is delighted to support The Today Public Policy Institute in its objective to provide a continuous platform for research and discussion of public policy options that are conducted objectively and that positively contribute to the policy debate in the country,” said Mr. Galea.
In thanking Bank of Valletta for its support Mr. Scicluna said, “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Bank of Valletta that will see both organisations collaborate closely for the next two years. This agreement provides the ideal opportunity to strengthen the good relationship that exists between the two organisations and we look forward to working closely with BOV on various research initiatives.”
The Today Public Policy Institute is an independent and impartial think-tank focusing specifically on public policies for the purpose of improving these policies. The Institute focuses on five policy areas – Governance and Public Administration, Sustainable Economic Development, Social Development, Environmental Sustainability and International Relations.
