Bank of Valletta and the Republic Street Business Community Association have officially entered into a one-year collaboration agreement with the objective of working together on a number of initiatives to further enhance Valletta’s diverse business community.  Through this agreement, BOV is being named as the Corporate Sponsor of The Republic Street Business Community.

The agreement was signed at Bank of Valletta’s Head Office in Santa Venera by Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations, Bank of Valletta and Paul Fenech, President of the Republic Street Business Community Association in the presence of Reginald Fava, Vice President of the Association.

“We are delighted to have partnered with the Republic Street Business Community Association as one of the stakeholders of the initiatives leading to Valletta European Capital City of Culture 2018.  This title brings real prestige and we take this opportunity to support the association tangibly through the Bank’s extensive community programme,” said Mr Galea.

Thanking Bank of Valletta for its support Mr Fenech said, “We are delighted to be signing this agreement with BOV which will see both organisations collaborate closely for the next year. This agreement provides the ideal opportunity to strengthen the good relationship that exists between the two organisations and we look forward to working closely with BOV on various activities targeted to enhance the city’s identity as an important business and entertainment hub”
