Eden Culture launches new season of operas and ballets

Following the success of previous performances broadcast live from the world’s top international theatre houses, Eden Culture is proud to present the official new season schedule for 2014-15. With an impressive selection of spectacular operas and ballets, all performances will be broadcast live via satellite from London’s Royal Opera House and Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. This year’s programme offers modern masterpieces which continue to push boundaries in the world of dance and music, alongside many beloved classics, such the infamous ballet, ‘Swan Lake’, and the work of musical geniuses including Verdi, Wagner and Puccini. One of the main highlights from Eden Culture’s new season includes a live performance from Malta’s favourite tenor, Joseph Calleja, who stars as ‘Rodolfo’ in Puccini’s ‘La Bohème’. Sure to be an outstanding production, Eden Culture will be giving audiences a chance to win two tickets to see the Maltese tenor live at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden in June 2015. 

Showing exclusively in Eden Cinema’s showcase theatre, audiences are to experience that same authentic feel as though watching these stunning shows abroad. Through the use of dimmed theatre lighting, enhanced sound as well as live behind-the-scenes footage before the start of every performance, Eden Cinemas ensures to make this experience even more memorable.  

Paying a fraction of that charged overseas, tickets are priced at €23 per adult and a mere €10 for children aged 16 and under. Various season specials and discounts are being offered from the box office, including 30% off when purchasing tickets for the full season and a 15% discount with the purchase of six performances.  Special discounts for school bookings are also being offered.
