GO’s annual summer party was held recently at the The Edge at the Radisson Blu St. Julian’s, which was decked out for the occasion in a Festival of Colours style. It was an unforgettable evening which also served to give due recognition for exceptional work.

Hundreds of GO employees gathered together with colourful garlands, warm smiles and an unexplainable fascination to fit into a propped photo booth for a group selfie that now decorates the desks of so many!

It was time to get together for yet another celebration. Employees refreshed their memories with a trip down memory lane which led back to the early days of GO’s legacy through a video which was shown during the event. 

GO’s Chief Executive Officer, Yiannos Michaelides thanked each and every employee for their contribution towards the company’s success over the years, and also gave due recognition to staff members who made exceptional effort during 2014. Ingrid Camilleri from GO’s Engineering Department and Marisa Gatt from the Commercial Department were awarded the GO Gold Award for exceptional overall performance for the First and Second Quarter of the Year respectively.

The STAR awards, a 360 peer to peer recognition programme, were also given to several employees for exceptional work in 2013/2014. Tiziana Micallef, Karl Lepre, Jonathan Brincat, Bernice Spiteri, Waren Fero, Adrian Tabone, Joseph Chircop, Sarah Camilleri, Christian Spiteri, Marisa Gatt, Anna Maria Tonna and Rene Etienne Muscat, were amongst those who were recognised
