In the main foyer of Mater Dei Hospital between 24 September and 8 October, an exhibition of poetry posters by poet Lucilla Maclaren Spillane from her book of verse Another seeing and other poems, will be held for public viewing. Lucilla Maclaren Spillane, born in England but residing in Malta and Ireland, is a poet of deep emotional feelings based on personal experiences. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Wednesday, 24 September at 7.30pm by President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, when the book will be launched in Malta.  Ten English poems and their equivalent translated Maltese versions will be recited by members of Ghaqda Poeti Maltin (Gh.P.M.) with Alex Manché playing the Mater Dei grand piano in the intervals.  The event is being organised by Gh.P.M. and the exhibition will benefit the Caritas Malta Epilepsy Association (CMEA). Attendance at the inauguration is strictly by formal invitation but the exhibition will be open to the general public until 8 October.
