The Actavis Malta Facilities have been honoured with the Global Award for the best logistics performance amongst all of the Actavis' International facilities worldwide. This award is the result of the efforts and commitment of the company's logistics and warehousing teams.

 

Whilst congratulating the logistics and warehousing team for this achievement, Actavis Managing Director - Malta Operations, Patrick Cachia, said that "we are extremely proud to have been selected for the global award from amongst the Actavis global network. Such an achievement recognises the work being done by our colleagues in the logistics and warehousing team to maintain an excellent customer service level whilst optimizing utilization of space and hence leading to a reduction in transportation cost. This achievement is due to a great effort and commitment by the respective teams which mirrors our winning behaviours of Challenge, Connect and Commit.to reduce costs, lead the way in optimizing and utilizing space, while at the same time retaining a high level of service."

In handing out the award, Val Petursson, Executive Director - Logistics International, commented "The Malta logistics team are to be congratulated for their contribution and remarkable efforts throughout the year. Simply put, they delivered excellent results in the hardest of circumstances, setting the bar at a very high level for the rest of the global logistics teams."
