MSV Life recertified as an equality employer

The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) recertified MSV Life with the Equality Mark in recognition of the life insurance company's commitment towards gender equality at the workplace and in the goods and services it offers.MSV Life has been enjoying the Equality Mark since July 2012 and the recertification is valid for a further three years.David G. Curmi, MSV Life's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are honoured that our efforts to provide a work environment that is free from any type of discrimination to our existing and prospective employees are rewarded. The Equality Mark acknowledges the company's responsibility to provide equal access to opportunities and career development based on employees' potentials, irrespective of their gender, age, status or other factors."The NCPE recertification is based on evidence that MSV Life kept its commitment to implement relevant policies and practices that concern gender equality and family-friendly measures at the place of work and in the access to and provision of goods and services. The company also demonstrated that it has the will and capacity to keep these good practices in the years to come.   "Initiatives that assist employees to find a balance between work and family duties reinforce MSV's commitment towards equality and underpin its endeavour to be an employer of choice," said Norman Mifsud, Chief Officer for Human Resources and Corporate Services.
