The Demajo Group of Companies this morning inaugurated the new technical centre, with an investment worth over €1million. The Group incorporates three companies specializing in information technology, which offer services to both local and international companies.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said that such an investment is crucial for the development of Maltese businesses, which should strive to broaden their service over international borders. In the upcoming months, the government will be providing opportunities for public private partnerships, and the government will be managing the required infrastructure for the private sector to develop further.

“Demajo Group of Companies is one example of how a company can diversify its service. The company originally started off importing products to Malta; today it has various branches in multiple sectors of the Maltese economy. It was able to adapt to different times and situations,” Dr Muscat said.

The new offices hosts three companies – Exigy, Computer Solutions and New Tech. The three companies comprise 100 employees.
