I believe we should really get worried about Chinese domination now. Our Government of sorts is selling our soul and our silver to this despotic regime. Joseph Muscat and Co. must carry their responsibility for allowing this small country to be swallowed up by the Asian monster to their grave. Air Malta is touted as being the next victim of Chinese domination. Meanwhile, our Chinese masters are creating problems with regard to our power station/national energy projects promised by our oracle PM. The problem is that he is not really concerned as he jets around the world chasing the proverbial Don Quixote windmills. Dear readers, please imagine what it would be like for a large portion of our tourism industry and our domestic water supply, lighting and heating to be under the control of a country which is not even capable of protecting its own citizens (read "slaves") - Leisure Clothing of course. We dread to think what these people will do to us Maltese citizens if we are under their control in Enemalta, Air Malta and anywhere else. Do our traditional Labour supporters, switchers and other blood suckers in the business world realise this? The man and his party have no scruples, believe me!
Just look at the debacle in Hong Kong, with courageous students, who have shown guts thanks to their British legacy. The Asian monster did not dare to behave as it did in Tiammen Square. Before we know it half of this country will be owned by them. What do we do then? Now a new massive embassy. Of course, some wise guy will retort that the US embassy is also a large compound, but, I say, please compare the human rights and democratic credentials of the two countries. In any case, China has a large complex in St. Julians, with a very large population - it is impossible to count how many of them are in there; believe me, I've been there, albeit many years ago. And meanwhile Deputy Toni, Toni has trotted off to China with a PL delegation for bi-Party talks (at least he can trot, unlike a Minister I can think of easily). Why? More money for the PL party headquarters or just topping up PL coffers? Unfortunately for PL, Mintoff era Libyan funds are no longer available. Perhaps Singapore? It is surprising what one can reap.
I am contemplating constructing a shed in a small open space in front of my residence - public land, of course (not obstructing access for my friendly neighbours). And I will immediately apply for an electricity supply and the relative smart meter, but not for a permit of course - unnecessary. It shall not contain a boat of sorts, because, like all shanty town boathouses, boats do not fit through the ramshackle door or in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen therein. Should the authorities object to my construction, then I will seek a Court injunction, followed by the relative Court proceedings and, if necessary, recourse to the European Court of Human Rights on the basis of discrimination. Because this country has really become a scum of the earth with a total lack of principles by both major political parties. They are just not prepared to uphold the law because they are cowards and are held to ransom by bandits.
In addition to the boathouse bandits, we have the hunters and trappers, of course. They have held both of these parties to ransom over decades. The PL, as usual, has acted like a harlot in regard to all bandits - as has the PN. But it is now time for the latter to stand up to be counted. Simon Busuttil has stated that he will not be populist. His ratings have really improved in this sense. The shanty towns must be demolished if they are found to be illegal. Hunting and trapping have to be controlled and banned if they are in breach of the law - including EU directives. Don't be afraid. I mean, just look at the majestic swan being shot recently. But why? We will be prepared for ten years or even fifteen years of Labour if the bandits are brought under control. After all, we ordinary law-abiding citizens are in a large majority. It's worth going for us.
And, finally, I would like to visit the issue of party financing. The PN is insisting that it be compensated for the many properties that the Mintoff expropriating party "stole" over some fifty years or so. The practice was absolutely scandalous, but that's the Labour Party. Plenty of excuses. Labour is claiming that the Australia Hall and Raffles Discotheque in Pembroke were exchanged for the Shipbuilding premises at Marsa. PN is contesting the takeover/transfer of the Pembroke property. Fair enough, but why decades later? The renting of Government land to the Labour Party for a pittance in annual rent should have been contested ages ago. The Labour Party withdrew the case for the Pembroke properties filed against itself. As I wrote earlier, truly scandalous. However the PN should file Court proceedings on behalf of the people perhaps?
