Opposition leader Simon Busuttil today said the government does not have a concrete plan on where it wants to take the country.
Speaking on Dissett, he blasted the government's roadmap, saying that it does not even have a "steering" (wheel), let alone a "road" or a "map."
Whenever the government is cornered, it resorts to mudslinging, he said.
In a speech during the PN convention last week, Dr Busuttil said he is willing to take the necessary steps against PN MP George Pullicino if he is found guilty of wrongdoing in the 'inflated' feed-in tariffs contract.
Dr Busuttil failed to answer as to whether he informed Mr Pullicino about this prior to making his speech at the convention
Asked to reply to the question multiple times by presenter Reno Bugeja, Dr Busuttil said that "it is not the point."
He said politics should be built on honesty, and he has reason to believe Mr Pullicino and not Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi.
On the "weak concrete" at Mater Dei hospital, Dr Busuttil dismissed this as another case of government mudslinging.
He said the hospital would have been evacuated if the column in the Emergency Department is as weak as the government claims.
If the PN is elected to government, it will respect civil unions bill, including the proviso on gay adoptions. It will also respect the citizenship scheme, Dr Busuttil said.
Malta's debt hit a record high during the first year of a Labour government, he said.
According to figures published by the National Statistics Office (NSO), government debt increased by €370 million, which is a record increase since Malta joined the EU.
Dr Busuttil said government debt increased by €518 million during the first six months of this year.
"Aren't we going to speak about the power station or traffic", Dr Busuttil asked at the end of the programme.
