Actavis has once again been recognized for its environmental commitment, earning top marks in the Carbon Disclosure Project's 2014 S&P 500 Climate Change Report. This annual report is compiled and published by the CDP that ranks the world's largest companies on their disclosure of climate change governance, risk management and emissions accounting.
The CDP list is one of the most widely recognized indicators of company commitment to integrating climate change risk management into strategic planning, taking action toward emissions reductions and demonstrating a long-term view of how to best manage the assets of shareholders. In this year's rankings, Actavis scored among the top three of 80 companies reporting in the Healthcare Industry, behind Johnson & Johnson and Bristol Myers Squibb and ahead of companies including Pfizer, Allergan, Merck, Eli Lilly, Amgen and Hospira.
