I am always on the hunt to find ways to make my outfits look chic and more expensive. Living on a student's budget has taught me how to spend less, but still find pieces that make me look and feel like a million dollar.

When it comes to seasonal trends, I never splurge on fringe boots or neon dresses. These pieces will be worn to death for a couple of months and then discarded to the depths of your closet once the fad is over. Instead, opt for chic neutrals in cream, grey, white, navy, nude and especially black.
