On Tuesday night, I happened to walk past a TV screen showing dozens seated in two pretty neat rows on one side and two rows on the other.

All were seated except for one, who was standing and taking pot shots at them from across the floor of the House. They weren't exactly pot shots, and he certainly wasn't firing from the hip. More like a spectacle at a shooting gallery with devastating firepower while those on the receiving end took it like they were sitting ducks.

Or like occupants of a rogues gallery while he lobbed hand grenades at them.
