The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will play in a rather unique live event that will take place towards the end of January, merging live orchestral music with visual cinematics telling the story of a 10-year-old boy intertwined in "an adventure of a lifetime".
Minister for Culture Owen Bonnici expressed his wish to work with the private sector in the artistic sphere.
"Everlink is a whirlwind story of a 10-year-old child on an adventure, and I myself am very curious to see the final product".
"The Ministry is committed to lending support to the Philharmnic Orchestra to take on more challenging projects, and 'The Everlink' is certainly a chellenge".

The show will take place in Cinema 16, at the Eden Century Cinemas. "The Everlink is a unique and enchanting live show incorporating a 40-piece orchestra, live singers and amazing cinematography".
Original music composed by Reuben Pace will be played, and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra led by Marcelline Agius will be under the direction of Raoul Lay, coming to Malta from Marseilles for this event.
The script is written by Malcolm Galea and narrated by Alan Paris, while the visuals on screen are created by Vince Briffa and a team from the Digital Arts Department within the Faculty of Media and Knowledge sciences at the University of Malta.
Representative of the Eden Leisure Group Kate De Cesare said the project is co-organised between Eden Leisure Group and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. "We are always looking for new and innovative ways to make use of our theatre space and are very interested in helping promote the arts".
Chairman of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra Sigmund Mifsud did not want to give away the story, however said that they wanted to create a project and show it at the Eden Cinema, however did not want to just have an orchestra on stage and thus came up with this idea.
