The 9th lottery draw of WasteServ's 'Collect & Win' campaign was held in November.
Winners of thisdraw were Anthony Genovese from Qormi, Charles Pace from Qormi, Jennifer Zarb from Naxxar, Ruth Spiteri from Zurrieq and C.Vassallo from Qormi. These were drawn from among hundreds of participants who recycled their plastic beverage bottles and spent light bulbs at one of the five Civic Amenity (CA) sites.
The lucky winner of the first prize was presented with his voucher by representatives from WasteServ and Calleja Ltd. The presentation was held at the Visitor Centre of the Marsaskala Family Park.
The Collect & Win campaign is now in its tenth cycle. Five tickets are given for every light bulb while one ticket is given for every ten bottles. All tickets are then entered into a lottery which is drawn every 3 months.
