As part of its commemoration of Black History Month, the US Embassy has announced activities to celebrate the achievements of African-Americans.  We invite you to participate in these free events.

Wednesday, February 11:  Presentation/exhibition African-American art at the U.S. Ambassador's residence.

Wednesday, February 18:  Film-show/discussion The Great Debaters at the U.S. Embassy. 

February 23-26:  Jazz program with American jazz singer Joy Garrison.  Details will be announced shortly. 

In addition to these events, two poster-shows will be on display in the month of February -  The Scurlock Studio and Black Washington at the MCAST Campus in Paola and American Leaders in Civil Rights in the University of Malta's library.
