Some religious people want carnival to be celebrated in winter, while others feel that carnival in winter is a highly important attraction for tourists at this time of the year.
Others however prefer it to be in summer so that can enjoy it irrespective of the weather.
I do not see why the same carnival festivities should not be celebrated both in winter and in summer.
There are many people who enjoy seeing the same film two or three times, while others watch football games regularly. So what's wrong with celebrating the same carnival twice a year, weather permitting in winter and for sure in summer?
