The second edition of the NSTF Science Days in Gozo will be held soon. 

Following the success achieved last year, the Ministry of Gozo has teamed up with NSTF to organise the second edition of the science days. Apart from showcasing students' projects and work in a number of science programmes, the event will also feature interactive sessions on a wide array of topics ranging from DNA to astronomy.

Addressing the press, Francis Stivala, NSTF secretary general, said that the Foundation was encouraged by last year's response where more than a 1,000 students visited the event. He continued by saying that NSTF remains committed to providing such non-formal educational programmes which have been of great benefit to all participating students in equipping them with a skill set much looked for by employers. 

Mr Stivala emphasised the fact that NSTF is succeeding in organising this event once again thanks to the generous support of the Ministry for Gozo, the Gozo College and the Gozo College Boys' Secondary School, ISIC Malta, local councils, MCast Gozo, E-learning, IMS, Malta National Aquarium, Merlin Publishers, Photocity, Shark Lab, Downtown Hotel and Mo's, Rabat, as well as expert science communicators who come specifically to carry out the interactive workshops with Gozitan children who visit the exhibitions and show them the practical and entertaining side of the science they learn in class.

Bookings for school visits to the NSTF Science Days in Gozo are now open. NSTF urges schools to book since places are limited and on a first-come first-served basis.
