Few remaining opportunities for boaters at Mgarr Marina

While people are looking forward to leave this year's dreadful winter behind and feel the warmth of the sun and the enjoyable summer days, there are only a few berthing opportunities left for boaters at the Mgarr Marina in Gozo, its management announced.

"Mgarr Marina has become the place to be in for yachters looking to spend their social or relaxing boating weekends in a good atmosphere," says General Manager Gennaro Xerri, General Manager of Harbour Management Ltd, operators of the Mġarr Marina.

"A number of improvements and embellishment projects have taken place over the years and the marina in Mgarr has become one of the most attractive in the Maltese islands, with modern facilities, a friendly environment and buzzing atmosphere in the surrounding area. Apart from our all-year residents, to avoid last-minute disappointments, boaters have become used to the habit of reserving their monthly berth for the summer season and there are now only a few berths available.

"Last year, our new jet ski docks were another welcome attraction at the marina, saving owners the hassle of trailing them in and out of the water every time. Even these can be booked in advance to put owners' minds at rest that their sport and leisure time remains as easy as it can be."

The Mgarr Marina has been upgraded with the best amenities and it offers a 24-hour service to its residents, including fuelling, maintenance, chandlery provisions and gardiennage to take away the stresses and worries associated with what is often a yachter's pride and joy. Prices at the Mgarr Marina are the most competitive not only in the Maltese islands but also throughout the Mediterranean. A few annual berths are still available for rent.
