First MISCO student obtains ILM Level 7 qualification

Maria Galea Kenely is MISCO's first student to have successfully obtained the Institute of Leadership and Management post graduate diploma in Strategic Leadership and Executive Management.

Ms Galea Kenely, who is currently the General Manager at Starpharma, obtained the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Executive Management after completing the 3 year course.

Lawrence Zammit, Director of MISCO presented the certificate to Maria Galea Kenely during her recent visit to MISCO's ILM Training Center.

"The ILM course is tailor made to help individuals choose and utilize effective leadership styles and strategies to lead and to be prepared to lead eventual changes in one's organisation. On a more personal level, this course provided me with the tools and capabilities to take responsibility for my own growth and development as a leader in my place of work. My managerial position was of extreme importance to me as it helped me put my acquired knowledge in the context of my real situation," said Maria Galea Kenely.

"Accomplishing this goal is highly rewarding but it was definitely no easy task as it required hard work and dedication. Nonetheless I was absolutely committed to this course which evolved into a very positive experience that gave me the opportunity to develop the skills to understand, evaluate and improve myself as a leader. Doing this course with MISCO was very positive as they were 100% supportive, highly competent and professional at all stages," added Maria Galea Kenely.
