To commemorate International Women's Day, GS superstore in Naxxar treated their female clients, with various offers, treats and fun activities. They also honoured them by making a significant donation to charity.

Between the 2nd and 7th March, GS Superstore (Naxxar) invited all its clients to donate their small change to The Inspire Foundation. The store also promised to double the final amount which resulted in the generous donation of over €1060.

Inspire helps over 1000 individuals with various disabilities ranging from Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. They do so through many services and disability programmes that are offered at a highly subsidised rate or sometimes even for free.

"With this donation, we will be able to reach out to more and more children and people who need help.  If it weren't for generous donors such as GS Superstore and their clients, Inspire would not be able to function and so many people would not get the help they need to reach their full potential," said Antonello Gauci - Inspire's CEO.

"We see so many mothers who are willing to do anything to help their children. They are incredibly dedicated and determined, and such initiatives are a great way to honour them," added Paula Doumanov, Chief Services Officer at Inspire.

"We are extremely happy with the outcome that resulted from the little cents donated by many customers as this truly shows that every little cent helps. We look forward to in collaborating further with inspire in future events." Mr. Raymond Mintoff - Managing director of GS superstore.
