Teatru Manoel in collaboration with Moveo Dance Company are presenting a brand new contemporary dance production titled "The Other Door, what's wrong, why not?" on 1, 2 and 3 May at 8pm.

This is the second dance production by Moveo Dance Company following their earlier production of "It-Tfajla tal-Ghonnella" in February.   Touching on concepts of gender and culture, this performance creates a pseudo-society whereby ambiguity is experienced both personally, from each dancer's perspective, and in contrast to each other. Throughout the production, the body is considered to be an unfinished article, constantly evolving to expose a new Other. Conceivably, the Other has the potential to challenge simplistic views as being merely framed by two binaries - right or wrong, male or female, acceptable or unacceptable.

Stepping through The Other Door grants you the liberty of experimenting with your identity - a space to be yourself.
