Air Malta is currently flying to four of the world's best airports. The 2015 World Airport Awards, organised by consumer aviation website Skytrax, named Changi Airport in Singapore as the World's Best Airport for the third consecutive year.
The international airports of Munich, Zurich, London Heathrow and Amsterdam Schiphol, to which Air Malta operates, have been named amongst the top ten airports worldwide.
Commenting on this announcement Ursula Silling, Air Malta's Chief Commercial Officer said, "As a value focused airline we strive to offer the best customer experience at value for money prices. We do not fly to secondary airports but to main city hubs that provide customers efficient services and easy access to/from their homes."
"Main city airports also provide our customers with a range of easy transfers and connections facilitating travel both for Maltese and tourists who visit our islands from countries all over the world. The airports that we operate to of Munich, Zurich, Amsterdam and Heathrow all have fast and efficient connections of less than an hour to and from the city centres", added Ms Silling.

These awards are the most prestigious honour for the airport industry voted by customers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey.
The World Airport Awards are based on 13.02 million customer nominations across air travellers of 112 nationalities, and included 550 airports worldwide. The survey evaluates customer satisfaction across 39 key performance indicators for airport service and product, from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, through to departure at the gate.
