A group of Junior College students recently represented Malta in the latest edition of the Euroscola Day at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Euroscola serves as a melting pot for European youths.
During the Euroscola day the delegation visited the European Parliament where it met officials from the Parliament who gave a briefing on the role and functioning of the institution. Two of the students spoke about the 450th anniversary of the Great Siege of Malta as well as about Valletta, the European Capital of Culture 2018.
During their stay in Strasbourg the Maltese group also visited the European Court of Human Rights and had the opportunity to visit places of interest in Strasbourg. Lecturers Ms Claire Cuschieri, Ms Margaret Gilson and Mr Robert Tanti accompanied the group.
