A young man was found dead early this morning on the rocks at EF Beach Club in St George's Bay.

On being informed, the police and a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital went on the spot.

The young man was then certified as dead. He was fully-clothed and lying next to the sea.

It would seem the young man is between 20 and 23 years of age.

For a long time the police tried to find out his identity and the cause of his death.

At around 9.30pm, the police informed that the dead man is a Dutchman, 23 years old.

On being informed, Magistrate Myriam Hayman appointed various experts to help in the investigations.
