Lidl, the retail chain leader in Malta with 7 stores, were the official sponsor for this year's 60 hour Football Marathon organised by Puttinu Cares held at the KMS Marsa Sport Centre. The company also donated a cheque of €15,000 and contributed to this year's record sum of just over ê1.6 million raised for Puttinu Cares Foundation to improve the assistance it gives Maltese cancer patients undergoing treatment in London.
