It is being estimated that by 2020 there may be one billion cars on the roads in this beautiful world of ours. While there are no easy answers to continue modifying and improve global living standards, various governments are seriously considering finding new ways on how to help people around the globe to breathe a little easier by pushing for cleaner alternatives to some purely damaging existing fuels.
However, as global living standards improve, the drive demand for more safe energy is again on the cards. And while energy for heat, light and mobility improves our quality of life, there are also consequences to consider. Emissions from energy use cause pollution; on a global basis, increased concentration of greenhouse gases contribute to global warming. Our personal vehicles are a mere example! More supplies of cleaner natural gas are therefore needed to increase energy security.
Efficiency improvement with lower carbon emissions are of the utmost importance. Industry worldwide needs to cooperate with governments to seek a more economically sound solution to stabilize GHG concentrations in our atmosphere.
The world’s energy needs aren’t diminishing, but the future demands a cleaner, brighter and more powerful energy than ever.
