The First team has been working hard behind the scenes to give you a new and improved lifestyle magazine. As from the June issue, it is bigger, brighter and better.
First has been published by The Malta Independent since 1992 - it was the first ever full-colour magazine to be published with a newspaper - and has continued to attract loyal readers and advertisers. The make-over will offer its readers a more dynamic magazine with the content that has distinguished it over the years - articles by real people for real people, discussing all sorts of topics and also bringing up various issues.
This issue, out on Sunday 14 June, introduces our new fashion photographer Federico Peltretti and stylist Fabio Ferri, adding to the glamour First is known for. We travel to Sicily on a four-day errand-turned-holiday, visit the Spero Centre that is helping to improve the lives of the blind and visually impaired, tackle the debilitating but social behaviours of post-natal depression and social phobia, meet the men behind the up-and-coming Maltese architecture firm Valentino Architects, find out more about the outdoor installation art exhibition at Art Basel called Parcours organised by Florence Derieux, get to know French architect Kitty O’Grady, while Albert Delia takes us on another traditional journey when visiting the Maltese Falcon at The Falconry Centre in Siggiewi.
We also pleased to introduce our new fashion trend informers – the popular Maltese bloggers The Clouded Revolution.
