You recently released the song 'L O R D' - what is the song about?

The song is about who I am and what I stand for, which is following and believing in a dream. I use the concept of religion as an example of how we all need a sense of hope in this world. Life isn't always easy and we tend to turn to someone or something greater than us for guidance - for me that something is music.

Now that you've released the single, what comes next?

I've been writing and producing my next EP as well as working on some other side projects for quite some time now; they have played a big part in my progress as an artist. Getting comfortable with major lifestyle changes and seeing where the music takes me has been a great learning process. The next step is shows. I want to perform again; it's been too long since my introductory performances and I'm ready for more.

Will this single be part of an album? Is there more to come?

For now 'L O R D' remains a single and won't be on any project. I feel it's a new chapter in my career and this is just a teaser of what's coming next. There is definitely more music to be released in the near future, and a full project shortly after.

How did you arrive to where you're at right now?

A lot of hard work and belief! I've been writing music for a number of years now and I have so much more to learn. I remember starting out - recording on a laptop that barely functioned, a headset microphone and a program called audacity.

Not long after I saved up to buy better equipment to beef up my home studio so as to record and produce music from home.

 Sean Manche, who's one of the original members of 'The Flock', would come over to my house and we'd spend hours just writing and recording. As time went on, we bought more equipment, built a better studio and kept pushing for what we wanted - however Malta is limited in the music industry, so now here we are taking it to the next level in London.

You mentioned 'The Flock' - could you explain what that is?

 Originally when we first started out, Sean and I wanted to put together a name that represents the both of us, but it didn't take long for us to realise that 'The Flock'' could be anyone who supports us or follows our music - regardless of who you are or where you're from, it's a movement and most importantly a family.

Are you signed?

At the moment I'm independent, however I'm looking for management to continue building and strengthening my dream.
