Updated: 40-year-old man injured in Valletta shooting; aggressor arrested

A 40-year-old Valletta resident was injured this morning in a shooting incident that took plac outside Fort St Elmo in Valletta.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where he was found to be suffering from slight injuries.

The police said the shooting took place following an argument between two men at about 11am.

The aggressor has been arrested.

The man’s condition is not critical, the police said, although it did not have any more details about his condition.
