Armed robber steals €6,500 in cash during late night hold-up at St Paul's Bay gaming establishment

Approximately €6,500 in cash were stolen by a hooded man wielding a knife from a gaming establishment yesterday evening in Triq il-Mosta, Saint Paul's Bay.

The police said that the robber approached the establishment’s employee, a 23-year-old man, brandished the weapon and demanded cash. He then ran off when given the money.

The armed robbery is being investigated by the Criminal Investigaion Department and the Qawra Distrit Police. Several experts have also been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
