According to results from a survey which has just been conducted by InsightPolls, immigration, environment and traffic are seen as the major issues facing the country.

InsightPollsis run by MISCO International Limited and Corporate Identities Limited, two experienced companies in the field of online surveys, marketing and public affairs.

The poll, conducted very recently between 18 and 25 June 2015 involved the participation of a panel of 542 persons, representative of the Maltese population in terms of age and gender. In the email survey, respondents were presented with a set of issues and were asked to choose the main issue which Malta is facing.

Respondents to the survey were also asked to state the main concern they have. The table below lists the level of concern for each issue presented in the survey.

Respondents are generally satisfied with their life. In fact 77% claimed to be either very satisfied or fairly satisfied while 23% claimed to be not so satisfied or not satisfied at all.

The survey participants were also asked a number of questions related to the environment. They were asked how worried they were about a number of issues. Table 3 below provides the results.
