As a rather drizzly day dawns in Brussels, the ministers of the Eurogoup prepare to resume their meeting at 11am.

But so wide were the ministers split between themselves that it is not thought their meeting will come to any agreement on the Greek bailout.

Most observers say the Eurogroup meeting will thus hand over to the heads of government who will be meeting here at 3pm and later as an extraordinary summit at 5pm.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat tweeted today looks like being a long day.

Meanwhile, while CNN included Malta among the countries opposed to a new bailout, along with Finland, Slovakia and Estonia, Italy's La Repubblica included Malta among the countries working for a bailout, along with Cyprus, Spain and Italy.
