A new roundabout built in the Pjazza Tax-Xelina in Sannat, Gozo, is being ignored by some public transport drivers, residents have said.

One resident who contacted this newsroom claimed that “all the necessary traffic signs are in place; however what is worrying is that the buses are routinely ignoring the roundabout sign and turning hard right as they exit from Dun Xand Aquilina street.

“Many other motors care are copying their example and this risks a serious head-on collision with cars that enter the roundabout correctly from the main street”.

The resident said that this type of behaviour is a hazard and is very dangerous.
