On the 29th of June, 2015 FHRD participated in an informative seminar held at the University Campus for AIESEC's students taking part in their Global Citizen programme. The seminar was held to promote and launch locally AIESEC's Global Citizen program.

AIESEC aims at developing youth by providing them with opportunities through experiential learning, volunteer experiences and professional internships. It also gives employers and organizations the ability to connect with a global network of talent of youths. FHRD, a private and independent organization which continuously promotes people management and development practices teamed up with AIESEC in order to promote the AIESEC Global Citizen programme.

AIESEC's Global Citizen programme is a worldwide AIESEC programme which provides participants with an exchange experience so as to prompt their leadership learning and growth through their 'inner' and 'outer' journey that the experience provides for them. The participants practice and gain practical work experience in their related specialty abroad supporting them in the process in gaining work related experience. The aim of the program is to enhance the process of learning of youths by delivering quality and powerful life changing experiences. This will result in entrepreneurial and responsible leadership within youths which, in turn, will contribute to their capability of solving social issues and moving towards AIESEC's vision of peace and fulfilment of mankind's potentials.

FHRD delivered a talk for AIESEC's Global Citizen Program discussing the various aspects of volunteering and how this can be related to one's career. The seminar aimed at bringing to the forefront the importance of volunteering as a means of gaining experience and testing different career paths.  This, together with an academic background and lifelong learning, enables today's youth to emerge better prepared when facing a career and have a job.

Mr Marvin Cuschieri, FHRD CEO, at the end of the seminar pointed out "FHRD is pleased to partner up with AIESEC and their Global Citizen program. Both organizations are firm believers of the importance of continuous professional training and lifelong learning. We look forward in continuing building our relationship with AIESEC." Elizabeth Pulo, AIESEC Head of Marketing and PR added, "Every time we collaborate with an organisation that believes in our program and in the concept of leadership development, we become more motivated to deliver more experiences. The support of organisations such as that of FHRD is needed for AIESEC to achieve its full potential and deliver its promises to develop leadership within the Maltese youths!"
